1. The parties

In this Cookie Statement, the following terms are defined as stated below:

Clicpublic SRL

with its registered office at Rue du Bosquet 21, 1400 Nivelles - Belgique, listed under company number: 0501.706.962.

User

every natural person (B2C) or legal entity (B2B) (for the provisions in the Privacy Act that apply to legal entities) visits the online platform of Clicpublic, without placing a bid.

Auctioneer

every natural person (B2C) or legal entity (B2B) (for the provisions in the Privacy Act that apply to legal entities) in a contractual relationship, of whatever nature, with Clicpublic via the online platform of Clicpublic.

Bidder

every natural person (B2C) or legal entity (B2B) (for the provisions in the Privacy Act that apply to legal entities) in a contractual relationship, of whatever nature, with Auctioneer or Clicpublic via the online platform of Clicpublic.

Seller

every natural person (B2C) or legal entity (B2B) (for the provisions in the Privacy Act that apply to legal entities) in a contractual relationship, of whatever nature, with the Bidder or Clicpublic via the online platform of Clicpublic.

Bid(s)

: the object of one or several (electronic) agreements, between Bidder, Auctioneer and Sellers, realised via the online platform of Clicpublic. A bid may as well be a private sale, 'maximum bid', forfeit, or similar, but are consistent hereinafter referred to as "Bid").

Telecommunications Act

The act pertaining to various provisions regarding electronic means of communication ('Telecommunications Act') (URL).

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data or text files that are stored on your local computer by websites. Such cookies may have different purposes: there are technical cookies (for language settings), session cookies (temporary cookies) and tracking cookies (cookies that follow your online behaviour, enabling the website owner to offer you the best possible user experience).
Section 129 of the Belgian Electronic Communications Act (Telecommunications Act conversion) contains a number of provisions about cookies and their use on websites. The Belgian implementation is derived from the European e-Privacy directive, which implies that the use of cookies and cookie legislation is regulated differently in each European country. 3. What is the use of cookies?

Clicpublic wants to keep you informed about this new legislation and about the cookies it uses. Cookies help Clicpublic to optimise your visit to a website, to remember technical choices (e.g. a language setting, a newsletter, etc.) and to show you more relevant services and offers.

7. I'm not from Belgium. Does a different form of approval apply to my country?

Clicpublic is a Belgian company, however it is possible the website is visited by people who are not from Belgium. The way in which European Member States implement cookie legislation often differs widely, making it difficult for the User to find out how his or her approval must be given. The table below offers an overview of the European Members States, the implementation status of cookie legislation and the implementation method (if any).
Clicpublic aims to pursue the correct implementation method, insofar as possible from a technical and material point of view.
